This collection of paintings and ceramics emerges organically from the collaboration of three artists—PIMPERM, the painter, and CLAYCERACERA, two ceramic artists. Together, they weave a narrative through installations that explore the essence of what lies beyond the walls. The interplay of form, texture, and color evokes emotions, transforming these abstract ideas into tangible visual artworks that touch the senses and stir the soul.
These objects reflect the still life of man-made and natural forms, aiming to connect with their essence. Yet our hearts remain harder than stone. Can we soften, like clay?
"Our love was born outside the walls"—Pablo Neruda’s words become windows into wandering thoughts, guiding how we find inspiration and bring it to life. In these creations, there are no metaphors, just a direct attempt to capture the essence of nature. Though we are born of nature, a place where every leaf and whisper tells a story without words, we've grown in ways that feel distant from it.

“ความรักของเราเกิดขึ้นนอกกำแพง” — คำพูดของปาโบล เนรูด้าเป็นหน้าต่างสู่การเดินทางของชุดงานแสดงภาพวาดและเซรามิกที่เกิดขึ้นจากศิลปินสามคน—PIMPERM จิตรกร และ CLAYCERACERA ศิลปินเซรามิกสองท่าน ได้ร่วมกันถักทอเรื่องราวผ่านการสำรวจและกลั่นกรองบางสิ่งอย่างของ “สิ่งที่อยู่นอกกำแพง” กลายมาเป็นการผสมผสานระหว่างรูปทรง พื้นผิว และสีสัน แปลความคิดเชิงนามธรรมให้กลายเป็นวัตถุที่จับต้องได้และสื่ออารมณ์ “ใจที่แข็งดังหิน จะอ่อนโยนลงได้หรือไม่ ดั่งดินเหนียว?”
โดยวัตถุเหล่านี้เกิดจากกระบวนการความคิดที่ไม่มีแบบแผนและล่องลอยเหมือนสายลม รูปทรงที่สร้างขึ้นจากแรงโน้มถ่วง การเปลี่ยนสถานะที่เกิดจากเปลวไฟ กลิ่นของน้ำมันและสารผสมที่อบอวลอยู่ในปอด ชิ้นงานเหล่านี้ ไม่ใช่การเปรียบเปรย แต่หากเป็นความพยายามที่จะสกัดความหมายของธรรมชาติและสื่อสารอย่างตรงไปตรงมา ไม่ซับซ้อน ดังเสียงกระซิบของใบไม้ที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวโดยไม่ต้องมีคำบรรยาย
Material & Techniques
Traditional : ceramic clay, acrylic color, oil color
Additional : ash, sand, water, hand-collected clay
Dried ash from the ceramic stove mingles with oil paint, sand blends with acrylics. Ash and clay, gathered from the garden, are used to explore the concept of change. Our approach merges different methods: paintings that take on sculptural forms, ceramic pieces that become surfaces depicting scenes of creatures, plants, and natural ambiance. The process of co-creating this series unfolds naturally, each element intertwining in a subtle, organic harmony. Traditional materials like clay, acrylic, and oil color guide our exploration.
Poetic
As I walk along the palm field, I hear the delicate chirping of a baby bird. This new life, pure and innocent, emerges into the world, its first sight the cracking shell of its sibling. These moments, like sculptures, are imprinted in the texture of the tree's body, the color of the rain, and the humble yet captivating glow of the moon.
Life is movement. It drives nature, animals, and humans, maintaining balance and reflecting the ever-changing nature of existence. The cycle of life and death continues, with nature decaying and returning its essence to the earth, imparting emotions and energy to other living beings. This connection encompasses every emotion—courage, fear, tranquility, pain, happiness, and sorrow—binding all life together.
Nature, the ultimate healer, revives what has decayed, restoring balance and continuity. In these simple, profound moments, we are reminded that we, too, are a part of this endless cycle, born of nature and bound to its rhythms.
